Apartment Schwanenwik

The customer: Cosmopolitan alpha animal with sporty elegance.

Minimal briefing for a “pearl” on the Alster: “I need a dining table and a sofa would be nice.” This marked the start of a collaboration in which trust was not a given, but was carefully developed step by step.

It took some time to define the precise spaces with regard to their function and allocation. The attractive living area, with its orientation towards the Alster, presented some challenges during the planning. The beautiful view had to be optimally preserved from every position in the room.

On the one hand, the sofa corner had to face towards it, but on the other hand it had to face the fireplace without limiting the space for a dining table and its proximity to the kitchen. In addition, the furniture was limited by the entrance situation, the corridor to the rear apartment and the bedrooms located there. Custom work was required.

Once the planning was convincing, we had earned their trust and were able to creatively work out the details. From then on, the customer boldly followed us in all suggestions for interior fittings, color concept and choice of materials and furniture.

His proximity to nature, his passion for the mountains, forests and all types of water allowed for an interesting choice of colors in combination with extravagant wallpaper and textiles. Natural colors meet soft aqua tones and flood the entire apartment with magnificent light. Subdued lacquer colors dim the dressing and sleeping areas and invite you to relax. A southern mood with orange and cotto tones was chosen for the guest area, thus rounding off the concept. Finally, the sporty, casual bed linen and matching terry towels for the bathrooms rounded off our concept in style.

The alpha animal is happy!
